Bori Diye Palong Saag Bhaja (Spinach Fry With Bori)

I want to share a simple but nutritious side dish recipe today, bori diye palong saag Bhaja. Very easyest and full nutritious side dish which is serve with plian rice in lunch.




Ingredients :

Spinach - 1 bunch
Bori - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1, sliced
Panch phoron - 1/2 tsp
Sugar and salt to taste


Method :

Wash and chop the spinach. Then blanch it in a pan of boiling water with a pinch of salt for about 3-4 minutes. Drain the spinach and set aside. When it's cool enough to handle, squeeze out as much water as possible and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add panch phoron, sliced onion, fry until onions turn brown.

Now add boiled spinach, sugar, salt, Cover the lid for few more minutes.

Finally, add bori, mix it.

Enjoy with hot plain rice..
