Indian Style Chilli Chicken

Indian Style Chinese Chilli Chicken is one of the most favorite dish almost every kitchen. Chilli Chicken and Fried rice used to be my Mothers main course for special occasions. Me and my husband both are loved this curry. I served Spicy Chilli Chicken paired with Egg Fried Rice. 

Ingredients :

For Marination ~

Boneless chicken - 250 gms, cut into cube
Egg - 1
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Onion paste - 2 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste - tbsp
Dark soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

For Gravy ~

Onion - 2, cut into cubed
Capsicum - 1, big, cubed
Garlic - 1 tsp (minced)
Green chilli - 2, chopped
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Chilli sauce - 2 tbsp
Corn flour - tsp
Ajinomotto - a pinch (optional)
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method :

Wash the chicken pieces well and drain out excess water.

Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients for marination for about 2 hours.

Heat oil in a frying pan and when its hot, deep fry the chicken in it, remove and keep aside.

Heat the same pan with 1 tbsp oil on medium flame, add garlic, green chilli, saute for a minute. Now add onions, saute till turns to translucent.

Add chopped capsicum and mix well.

Pour the soya sauce, tamato sauce, chilli sauce, ajinamoto and little water, allow to boil. When it starts to boiling add fried rice and mix well. At this stage add the dissolved corn flour to it, stir well till desire thickness. Remove from the flames.

Serve hot with Egg Fried Rice & Njoy...
